Description:

A black dog wearing a ushanka and a white bandage on its head, dressed in a green coat. The background is bright orange. This is a funny and deep twist on van Gogh's self-portrait.

The painting mixes loneliness and isolation, showing the artist's struggles. The black dog in strange clothes shows inner battles. The orange background shows the strong emotions and intense world of the artist.

Prineet Kaur,

The Haunting Gaze (Sketch)
----------------------------------------------
Prineet says, It feels like you're never 'the one' for anyone. Sometimes you're not pretty enough, sometimes you're just not enough, and sometimes you're not what they want anymore. It feels like a spiral, like being trapped in a game you always lose. Does that mean it stops hurting? Or does it just make you numb? This piece tries to capture that feeling. Is it really being numb, or just pretending? Is it acting stoic, or actually being stoic?
