Peace Talks

Joan Nebe's art series "Peace Talks" reflects on personal experiences and historical events. Inspired by family trauma from wartime, Nebe explores themes like the Russian army's actions in Ukraine and recurring patterns in history. His work combines graphite animation and stop-motion techniques to depict scenes of warships, burning villages, and peaceful park walks, aiming to metaphorically illustrate the mindsets in peace negotiations.
